Golf at Lexington Golf and Country Club

What a golf course! Designed by Ellis Maples and Ed Seay, Lexington plays different every time that you tee it up.

The golf course at Lexington Golf & Country Club is a gem of lovely challenges. The two 9-hole loops are situated on 200 acres of undulating Shenandoah Valley hills and dales. The layout is framed by the Blue Ridge Mountains and is insinuated into the natural landscape. The many trees that afford comforting shade also come into play on most holes, so they must be both appreciated and taken into account.

This wonderful layout, measuring 4,845 yards to 6,500 yards, has some exceptionally interesting holes. Hole 4 and 8, each a par 3, play over ponds. The 10th hole necessitates your best drive, with accuracy included. The 11th is a quality par 5, calling for a tee shot that bends right to left. There is no rest for the weary on 18 – its green is the most challenging on the course.

If you are interested in teeing it up at one of the best golf courses in Virginia please give us a call at 540.463.3542 or talk to the front desk representative to set up your golf round.
