Renowned for its beauty and historical significance, the Washington and Lee University campus was designated a National Historic Landmark by the Department of the Interior in 1972. W&L hosts several on-campus events every year which are open to public, including Hall of Fame Weekend, the Five-Star Festival, Young Alumni Weekend, Parents and Family Weekend, Law and Undergraduate Reunion Weekends and Commencement.
The Washington and Lee campus is also home to the Lee Chapel and Museum (and museum), the Reeves Center and the Watson Pavilion. There is always going on around campus! And if that is not enough, downtown Lexington offers plenty of museums, shops and outdoor attractions that are sure to pique your interest.
